a new type of international payments company

Fintrax Group bought Planet Payment following their growing success in the complex world of multi-currency cross-border payments and tax-free shopping. We were asked to help them land a brand identity, values and company philosophy that all employees could be proud of.

We engaged in an efficient, collaborative process across borders with the marketing, HR, sales and R&D departments, along with the leadership team, to formulate a more modern and compelling proposition and brand.

Underpinned by a set of widely-shared beliefs, the resulting identity and implementation was developed at pace and brought different company heritages together into a new entity.

Reflecting the global nature of the business, the pattern identity was created in collaboration with designers in Moscow and a team in the UK. It is distinctive and yet super-flexible for the hundreds of different touchpoints where Planet appears.
